Prayer for the Chronically Ill

Lord, I am tired of being sick. Not tired of fighting — I will keep fighting — but tired of the relentlessness of it. The daily management. The medications. The appointments. The good days that give false hope and the bad days that steal it back. "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." — 2 Corinthians 12:9 Paul asked three times for his thorn to be removed, and You said no. Not because You did not love him, but because You had a purpose that transcended his comfort. Lord, I struggle with this. I want to be healed. Completely. Permanently. And I will keep asking.
